As a Front Desk officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access procedures, verify credentials, and monitor lobby activity and cameras. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a professional presence, clear communication, and prompt reporting. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
  • Manage the front desk by greeting and directing guests, verifying identification and/or appointment details, issuing temporary credentials per policy, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, and report irregular activity through the appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events according to post orders.
  • Support a professional lobby experience by answering phones and/or messages, providing general information, and escalating client service concerns to site leadership as needed.
