Job Description As a Security Officer – Tech Site Screener in Lexington, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while assisting with access control. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Screen individuals entering the premises, verifying credentials and granting access only to authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to maintain a positive environment.
