As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, verifying credentials, and assisting guests, all while providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence and commitment to Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with building staff and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by site procedures.
  • Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the front desk.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any security-related concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
