As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and respond to requests with a customer-first mindset. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points at a technology-focused location, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry using badges, visitor logs, and/or other access control tools, directing visitors to proper destinations per site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and incident reports, communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site personnel, and support security-related operations as assigned.
