Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, stay highly visible, respond to alarms and access control needs, and document observations with clear communication. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, agility, and reliability.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate onsite contacts and/or public services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter routes within a technology-focused location to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and credential checks, manage visitor entry processes, and report access control concerns according to site requirements.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate key updates during shift turnover.
