As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity while providing caring, people-first customer service throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Control access points as assigned by checking identification, issuing visitor access credentials when authorized, and maintaining a professional presence at entrances and/or key areas.
• Complete accurate reports and logs of patrol activity, observations, incidents, and service requests using required documentation systems and communication channels.
