About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Screener Full-Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns; working conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access and provide information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
