As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within the tech, media, and telecom industry.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and uphold site-specific procedures.
