Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a leading technology, media, and telecom location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and providing exceptional customer service. Your role involves assisting visitors, monitoring access, and using computer or tablet systems, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner, verifying identification and providing access as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting individuals as needed within the location.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding any security-related concerns or emergencies.
  • Support emergency response activities by following established protocols for the location and coordinating with appropriate personnel as necessary.
