As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrol in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a dynamic tech and media location. You will interact with guests and employees, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity, unauthorized individuals, or other security-related matters specific to a technology and media environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
Work collaboratively with site staff and visitors to support a secure environment and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, alarms, or requests for assistance in a professional manner.
