About The Position
As a Security Officer - Tech Entry Screener in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
- Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points and verify identification as required by site procedures.
- Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed and support evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.
