As a Security Officer - Tech Entry Screener in Lexington, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Working environments and conditions may vary based on the location.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises, helping to maintain authorized access only.
Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and/or any incidents that occur during the shift.
Support site-specific protocols related to the technology and media environment, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
