As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Rounds in Ashland, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure atmosphere. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential risks.
Communicate observed concerns, unusual activities, and/or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and the client's staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
