Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology/media/telecom location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with on-site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues and support a secure environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
