About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Longs, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations according to established protocols.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by the location.
Complete documentation and incident reports as needed to maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence.
