Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location, promptly reporting observations according to site protocols.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming atmosphere within the tech and media environment.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
