Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will interact with employees and visitors, support access control, and help maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor access points and control entry to designated areas within the location, following established protocols.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within a technology, media, or telecom setting.
Remain alert to surroundings and communicate clearly with others while performing patrols and other assigned duties.
