About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol and monitor assigned tech and telecom locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarm panels, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating reliability and teamwork. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client expectations.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
