About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access points, observe activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

  • A State, County, or City issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office, technology, and/or operations areas, including interior spaces, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy issues.
  • Control access at assigned entrances by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badge processes, and directing deliveries to designated locations in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate noteworthy activity to supervisors and/or site leadership.
