Job Description As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Panama City Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas, amenities, and exterior grounds, helping to spot and report security-related concerns. You will remain highly visible, help to deter unwanted activity, and assist guests and staff with directions, questions, and service-focused communication. Requirements
- A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and/or property-related issues, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, common spaces, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual behavior, and verify credentials and/or permissions when directed by site policy.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and guest interactions, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
