About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as a factory or office building. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a factory or Office Building, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and store teams with friendly customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal procedures, post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail shopping location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and observations per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, sales floors, corridors, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, loading and receiving areas, and parking areas for unusual conditions, and coordinate with store management and/or local responders when needed.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and/or maintenance notifications, and communicate updates to supervisors and on-site contacts.
