About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol Weekdays in Bethlehem, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, staging zones, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and support entry and exit processes for employees, visitors, and drivers, including checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and/or directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Complete detailed written reports and maintain accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities using site forms and/or electronic systems.
