About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Rounds in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and key areas during patrols, assisting with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks as assigned, and reporting maintenance or environmental concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift turnovers, communicating notable activity to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
