About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mall Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a vibrant retail and mall environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail and mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and employees by providing directions, information, and general support as needed.
Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points within the retail and mall setting.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to maintain a welcoming and secure environment.
