About The Position

As a Security Officer - Shopping Mall Patrol Driver in Wyncote, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will patrol and monitor a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This unarmed position primarily involves driving as you support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will play a key role in upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability, while making a positive impact in a busy retail setting.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate according to site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, issues, or concerns encountered during patrols.
Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
