As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol interior and exterior areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and staff with directions, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, and/or customer disputes.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, service corridors, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points, respond to alarm activations, and assist with after-hours lockup and/or opening procedures as directed by site post orders.
Observe and report hazards, property damage, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and activity logs with clear, accurate details.
Provide direction and assistance to visitors, including wayfinding, escort requests, and support during special events and/or peak shopping periods.
Work with property management, retail staff, and local public sector partners as needed to support site policies and incident response.
