As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

This is primarily a driving post. A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with store management and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or concerns within the location.
Document all incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
