Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen people and deliveries, and complete routine patrols to support a controlled environment. You will remain highly visible, document security-related activity, and provide customer-focused communication with staff and visitors. Requirements
- A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, and vendors as required, including verifying credentials, managing entry points, and conducting package, bag, and/or vehicle screening in accordance with posted procedures.
- Monitor access points and inbound and outbound activity, document movements as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as entrances, staging areas, and perimeter routes as directed by post orders, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
