Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support access control and incident response while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first, delivering through teamwork, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, authorizations, and visitor or vendor requirements in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and completing required notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or warehouse areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by post orders and local conditions.
  • Complete reports and logs for security-related activities, including incidents, access control actions, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
