As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and provide polished customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and documenting visitor and/or vehicle activity per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site points of contact and completing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards or suspicious conditions, and report findings.
• Support security-related compliance activities such as monitoring restricted areas, observing handling of sensitive materials, and escalating potential policy violations to site leadership.
