You will remain visible, complete routine observations, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies at a dynamic technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points by checking credentials, following visitor management protocols, and reporting irregularities to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and escalating concerns through proper channels.
• Monitor screening equipment, entry lanes, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support an orderly flow of people entering the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobbies, and perimeter areas as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
