About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and court personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening activities, and/or emergency response actions when appropriate.
  • Screen entrants and personal belongings at designated access points using approved screening equipment and established post procedures, and report prohibited items and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site leadership and/or public officials.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help support orderly access, verify authorization where required, and follow established visitor processing guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, noting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
