As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide exceptional customer service, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed security-related procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, delivery, and/or contractor activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for irregular conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
