You may conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and Allied Universal standards for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Screen individuals, bags, packages, and personal items at designated entry points using approved equipment and/or established inspection procedures while helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Verify identification, visitor credentials, and delivery information, and report irregularities, prohibited items, and/or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and location procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of lobby, screening, and adjacent access areas, document daily activity and/or incidents, and communicate clearly with staff, guests, and first responders as needed.
