As a Security Professional - School Patrol Bike in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the educational location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related issues discovered during patrols.
- Support campus community members by offering assistance and guidance as appropriate while on patrol.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
