As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or students while maintaining a visible presence.
Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and/or incidents as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Support emergency response efforts and follow established procedures in the event of fire, medical, or other incidents.
