Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike in Cary, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible support to the community. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will engage with individuals on-site, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation in every interaction.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents at the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted or unauthorized behavior within the location.
