Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure under pressure.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious activity, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel or authorities as needed.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification, and maintaining order in accordance with site policies.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Work collaboratively with law enforcement or emergency response teams when required, supporting the overall security-related objectives of the location.
