About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Property Patrol in Bellevue, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced telecom technology location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes as needed. You will also assist employees and visitors with a customer-first approach, strong communication, and integrity, working as part of an agile, reliable team.

Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout telecom and technology-focused facilities, including office areas, common spaces, loading and/or parking areas, and building perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor credentials in accordance with site requirements; document access activity as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from on-site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate noteworthy activity to site management, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
