As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist staff and guests with courteous service. You will observe for unusual activity, support access points, and communicate clearly with site leadership and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

At least 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at a food and beverage location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting issues, completing required documentation, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, storage areas, offices, break areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards.
Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or policy violations through visible presence and customer-focused interactions.
Support security-related screening and inspection activities as assigned, such as observing deliveries and pickups, monitoring vehicle traffic, and maintaining accurate logs and shift handoff notes.
