As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with a customer-first approach, communicate clearly, and document observations as needed. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and associates by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail shopping location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local public services as needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with closing and opening routines, checking doors, gates, and secured areas for unauthorized entry and reporting irregularities.
• Prepare clear incident reports, activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and recommendations to site leadership.
