Job Description As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in MOORESVILLE, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document activities, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and respond to alarms and service requests with professionalism. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach to support reliable operations every shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and maintaining visitor and/or contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with scene control, and documenting actions taken.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and complete detailed reports and shift communications regarding patrol findings, incidents, and policy violations.
