About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and document observations. You will support shipping and yard activity through clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, shipping and receiving docks, trailer yards, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, driver, and vendor check-in and/or direction in accordance with site policies, reporting concerns through the established chain of command.
• Complete routine security-related reports and activity logs, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and operational needs.
