As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations using on-site systems. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, loading docks, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, following visitor management procedures, and documenting entries and exits.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance hazards, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
