About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service for employees, drivers, and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support a caring, integrity-driven team that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, processing areas, yards, and perimeter points, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance issues per post orders.
  • Monitor access control points such as gates, employee entrances, and visitor check-in areas, helping to verify identification, log entries, and support driver and delivery traffic flow as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or suspicious activity, and notify Allied Universal supervision and client contacts as required.
  • Complete clear and accurate reports, including daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations to on-site personnel to support security-related operations.
