Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond professionally to concerns while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and coordinating with onsite staff and/or public agencies as directed.
• Control access to government facilities by checking identification, verifying authorization, managing visitor sign-in and/or badge issuance, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, complete written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift changes to help to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access.
