About The Position

As a Security Officer - Rover Patrol Driver in Three Rivers, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will also support visitors and employees with clear communication and a customer-first approach, delivering with teamwork, integrity, and innovative problem-solving.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor check-in and deliveries as required by site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, accidents, disruptions, and/or requests for assistance from site personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
