As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will spend much of your shift driving between areas and completing routine patrols, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and assist customers with a professional, service-first approach. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe shopper traffic patterns, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, or theft-related indicators to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including resolving disturbances, assisting with medical calls, and supporting evacuations when directed.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift changes to support continuity of operations.
