About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover larger areas and respond to calls for service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate concerns through the appropriate reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout an automotive location, including buildings, parking areas, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter, as assigned.
  • Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification or visitor credentials when required, and directing visitors, drivers, and employees according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
