As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the property, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report activities and/or incidents at the location to maintain a visible presence and support a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with store personnel and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as appropriate.
  • Document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
